3:1 Web development software
Activity duration: time dependent
Creating a website is an alternative method of effectively presenting research to a wide audience of people. Module 3 will combine the work pupils have participated in during modules 1 and 2. It is important that pupils are aware of the content they share over the internet and remember the Kidsmart rules and authoritative guidelines when sharing information.
Below is a list of web development software that will allow pupils to create their own website. (Please note: some of the packages may incur a fee).

For further information pupils may like to join the Childnet Academy online forum where the Childnet team can introduce them to their online mentors. Some of these mentors have specific web development backgrounds and give their time to Childnet free of charge to help aspiring young web developers learn new skills and apply knowledge.
