Childnet feature on BBC WORLD Television
The Cable & Wireless Childnet Academy competition recently received international recognition and promotion on BBC World television. The Academy was featured on Click Online on Saturday 29th October on News 24 and BBC World.

The programme entitled Kids Online showcased the Academy competition which Childnet International has run successfully in partnership with Cable & Wireless for the past 2 years. As part of the programme young winners from past years had the opportunity to discuss their work and the Childnet Networkers (young people’s panel) helped to introduce the programme. Stephen Carrick-Davies, Childnet’s CEO and Helen Penn from Childnet spoke about what they've learnt from working so closely with young people, and about the sites that have won in the past and what the judges are looking for in sites that might win in the future. The programme informed viewers about how they can enter the competition and provided some excellent examples of child friendly websites.
