CABLE & WIRELESS CHILDNET ACADEMY WINNERS 2004

The judging for the Cable & Wireless Childnet Academy has now been completed. Childnet staff, a special young people's panel (The Networkers) and team of International judges viewed some 250 entries from over 40 different countries worldwide.

Childnet International is delighted to announce that the following young people have won a place in this year’s Cable & Wireless Childnet Academy that will take place in London during April 2004.

Whilst traveling around Kenya with his family 16 year old Frank paid a visit to an orphan's home and two schools in the village Ukunda. He was touched by the difficult circumstances faced by the schools and decided to raise some funds to help them. This website is the result of that decision. The purpose of this website is to raise awareness about Ukunda and to give others an opportunity to help the local the schools.
