THE CABLE & WIRELESS CHILDNET ACADEMY HALF DAY WEB CHALLENGE!
The Mission: The winners of this year's Childnet Academy have half a day to work in their groups and collect and record information on their topic. They can take photographs, create graphics and collate information for a page of a new website which will be uploaded at the end of the day. Each group will present their page at the end of the day; and the most innovative page will receive a (small) prize!

Conduct interviews with local people; find out what they do and where they live? Do they like living in Jamaica? How do their lives differ to people from your country? For example: Do they dress differently?
- Group 3: Where did you say you were from again? >>click here
Talk to other guests at the resort and find out where they are from. Why are they here? What do they do back at home? Have they noticed the Academy group? What are their impressions?

What is the local cuisine? Is the food in the hotel different to local dishes? What are your favourite Jamaican foods? Create a visual extravaganza.

Capture or recreate special moments from the week. They can be funny or serious, heart-warming or just really memorable!
- Group 6: Famous for the day? >>click here
You need to find people who do interesting things for a living and make them famous for the day. Interview them, capture them on camera and explain why they stand out!

Collect some statistics related to your stay in Jamaica. Anything from the amount of sunshine to how much the other winners ate! Work out innovative ways of displaying your information in a stylish webpage.
